Stephen Egan’s journey into architecture and construction began in childhood, growing up in an environment rich with real estate development. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for the field, leading him to explore carpentry while pursuing his architectural studies at Northeastern University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture. This blend of hands-on craftsmanship and advanced education in cutting-edge technology continues to influence his approach and the philosophy of Egan Architects today.
After completing his studies, Stephen joined a prestigious Boston firm renowned for its expertise in mixed-use and multi-family developments. His career took an exciting turn when he transitioned to a Cape Cod-based design-build company, where he spearheaded the design division. This role allowed him to refine his skills in high-end, custom single-family residential projects while further developing his expertise in self-performed mixed-use and commercial endeavors throughout New England.

Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Stephen has cultivated a reputation for effectively collaborating with developers, builders, and property owners through every phase of design and construction. His versatility encompasses a wide array of project types, ranging from single-family homes to multi-story, mixed-use developments.
